Hello all of you lovely people. Sorry, sorry, sorry for the radio silence – it’s not a case of us ignoring you, we’ve been extremely busy with the start of wedding season and haven’t had the chance to get our teeth stuck into writing a nice, juicy blog post! We are currently updating the website too with a whole new set of images and, as you might appreciate, this is taking longer than expected…

We’ve had a fantastic few weeks and have had wedding shoots down in Falmouth at St. Michaels, at The Park in Mawgan Porth and at a cracking new venue near Redruth called The Old Vicarage. In the next week we’ll post some piccies up for you all to look at. In the mean time, why not visit our Facebook page (the link is in the top right of the screen)?

I’m frazzled – and it’s only Thursday. The last seven days have been non-stop for us and our time has been suitably filled with a combination of weddings, photo editing thousands of images and yesterday, shooting for the National Trust at Sandymouth in Bude. I’m now suffering with a combination of muscle ache and sun burn from long periods running around the cliff tops and photographing in the water – plus my eyes are sore from extensive periods of staring at wedding photos. If you check back here in a few days I’ll post up a preview of some of the images- in the mean time, any sympathy would be greatly appreciated!

Wedding fair

It was great meeting all of you lovely people at the Cornish Brides wedding fair on Sunday at Princess Pavilions, even with the sun roasting outside (good to see some of you guys are putting your wedding planning before sunbathing!) We’re hoping that won’t be the last of the good weather because the wedding season is just getting under way. We’ve got a busy week ahead now with various meet ups with couples looking for a wedding photographer in Cornwall as well as a corker of a wedding lined up this weekend. Phew.

It was great meeting up with John and Michelle Boulton last Saturday. We photographed their wedding last year at their local church in Tywardreath and on the magnificent grounds at Tregrehan – the place where John grew up. Lucky guy!

Wedding season is almost upon us – even though these days, it seems people are prepared to get hitched any time of the year! This weekend we met up with Rachel and Lee at Princess Pavilion in Falmouth to discuss plans for their upcoming wedding – a date which promises to be a cracker. Speaking of Princess Pavilion; we’ll be attending the Cornish Brides wedding fare there on the 1/4/12. So, if you’re fed up with typing ‘Cornish wedding photographer’ or ‘wedding photographers Cornwall’ over and over into Google without success – why not pop down and meet us? See you there!

It was greeting meeting all who attended the Scorrier House wedding fare. It was our maiden showing at the venue and we were very impressed with how the day went. Richard (the owner) did a grand job keeping all us exhibitors fed and watered with a seemingly endless stream of sandwiches, biscuits and tea. It was a busy day which saw lots of bookings made for wedding photography in Cornwall for 2012, 2013 and even 2014! Some of you are just so organised! Happy New Year!

Did you have a nice festive season? Over indulge on chocolate, alcohol and all other related Xmas stodge? Well, its time to get back on the program and kick start 2012 by getting back on the tread mill and more importantly, recommencing the organization of your wedding! We offer all of our clients a relaxed, informal service with an easy, simplified wedding package.
