JAZ AND CONRAD. A CAPTAINS WOOD BARN WEDDING FULL OF FUN AND FILM

Jaz and conrad held their stupendous wedding at captain woods barn in essex back in august and, aside from the thousands of digital photos, i used a whole bunch of film - all types of mediums including crappy point and shoots, polaroid and medium format (albeit on a holga for all of you camera geeks). the end product is pretty special, especially the square ones (again, 120 film for all the camera enthusiasts), where all imperfections are kind of perfections.

analogue photography offers something a bit different, there’s a wholesomeness about the quality which can’t really be explained or replicated - a bit like vinyl over mp3’s or cd’s. when things calm down this end look out for their big day on the featured weddings section of the site, it was honestly one of the most amazing weddings i’ve had the pleasure to shoot at one of the most venues.
