WHEN ELEANOR FIRST REACHED OUT IT MADE MY DAY…

''So so happy to have found your website and style of photography! Really is a breath of fresh air on the wedding photography scene.

Matt and I are getting married in Porth-en-Alls (that I see you are familiar with!)
in late Feb next year. We're doing things a bit differently, the ceremony will be outside and we've told everyone to bring coats etc, just in case. Whatever the weather, we're both imagining and embracing a memorable and original day that is pretty different to what people have attended before.

The turnaround to the day is quite fast, we only booked the venue a month or so ago so we're currently going at double speed to book everything, but didn't want to wait around another year, so decided to just go for it! We've not got a marquee so everything after the ceremony will be inside, but keen (as long as weather is kind) to make the most of the location and let guests soak in their surroundings between ceremony and food. Warm cocktails and nibbles will be served outside if poss, before going inside, where we'll eat, speeches, then the party starts.”

she then went on to say…

”I'm quite keen on photography and film photography in particular so if we could integrate a few shot on your Holga that would be amazing - I was thinking perhaps these could mainly be of the two of us after the ceremony but keen to hear your advice.”

so now you see why i was frothing at the mouth;

wood fired canteen doing the catering - tick
an excuse to shoot some film - tick

in fact, RATHER THAN WRITING REAMS AND copying and pasting ELEANOR’s email, i should’ve just saID;
