Julia and Jac's wedding at The Meudon was simply perfection. Essentially, it was the wedding equivalent to The Great Pyramids of Giza, an impossibly blue ocean lapping up on a white sand beach, Bristol City FC, all of Shakespeare's works - or my personal fav; Jennifer Lawrence.
It was perfect for many reasons; the setting, the outdoor ceremony, lots of beautiful people mingling, a consistent, buzzing atmosphere all day, the incredible food plus and crucially; the weather. You see, I always take the weather forecasts in Cornwall with a pinch of salt for the reason that there isn't the land mass to retain the conditions. In their case, dry weather was pretty essential because of the outdoor ceremony - of which was threatened by a biblical torrent of rain throughout the WHOLE day, according to the weather man. However, in true fashion it wasn't to be the case. All of the bits that were meant to be dry (i.e. the ceremony, reception drinks and their portraits) stayed dry - sunny even. In fact, the only time rain featured was during the bits that rain wasn't an issue was the wedding breakfast and the evening party.
On the flip side - for Jac maybe, his favourite team Liverpool, did lose in the Champions League final due to two woeful errors from their goal keeper.
