Ellie and Mark had their wedding at the always amazing Lower Barns in St. Ewe with a small number of family and friends in attendance. I must admit, I do love a Lower Barns wedding, Janie and Mike (who own the place) are the most amazing humans and look after their guests as if they were staying at the Ritz. If you’re a regular reader of my posts (not that I’m really really active with the blog - yes, I’ve just given myself a stinging slap on my own wrist) I photograph quite a few weddings at Lower Barns and I realise I must sound like a broken record. For those who don’t, basically every post I put up is riddled with superlatives about the place along with over exaggerated compliments about the beautiful surrounding area that is the Roseland Peninsula. Ellie and Mark wanted to hit the beach for their portraits so we headed to Gorran Haven, a beautiful little fishing village about a 15 minute car ride away which, on a summer’s day, is usually buzzing with beach-goers and tourists. What I like about the place is that it never gets too full and busy, it’s almost like a mini St.Ives about 30 years ago. Perfect!
