I met Kelly and Matt prior to their wedding at Moredon Hall at another wedding we photographed in London. Their day took place on a sweltering hot day in the summer of 2018, and was as humid as the tropics.
I mean, lets face it, we Brits love to complain about the weather, if it’s raining we’re unhappy, if it’s cold we complain about temperature - wishing that it was warmer, when things are stormy, we don’t go out and moan about it and say things like ‘it’s too windy!’ (you know what they say ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad choice of clothing’) - and, when it’s scorching hot, we moan about that too!
Well, Kelly is used to this kind of weather, she hails from Coogee, Australia - not a million miles away from where Hayley and Jake’s wedding took place at Watsons Bay, so there were no complaints from her side of the family. Before you wonder - no, none of Matt’s side of the family whined about it too either, in fact I think they were all relieved (as were we) that it was kind to them. Although when the sun came out, everyone scurried off to seek respite under trees making it a challenge for us photographers to capture the candid pictures.
A wedding at Moredon Hall is always an epic affair, they are incredibly attentive and successfully manage to meet all l of their couple’s expectations. If you are interested in book your wedding at Moredon Hall, do yourself a favour and click HERE - you won’t be disappointed!
