A HOLLAND PARK WEDDING

A HOLLAND PARK WEDDING

Given the current high state of alert the UK is on right now, it probably wasn’t the best idea to let off smoke bombs in Holland Park, but rules are meant to broken and this is what we did.

Prior to that, they had their ceremony in Holland Park’s beautiful orangery and, because of the pouring rain, everyone congregated together under cover for a buzzing reception - fuelled by drinks and canapés.

I must say a big up to Sarah and Jim for braving the elements too - they were well up for getting soaking wet by risking the awful weather - and potentially ruining their lungs with all the toxic, green smoke.

The reception was held at the Alice House Pub where a quiz was held between speeches (hilarious questions too - you had to be there) with the victorious table winning a cardboard cut out of Danny Devito - which, I think, everyone should have in their home.

The copious amounts of champagne that followed transformed a normally relaxing pub into a wild dance floor. I believe the next day I had an almighty hangover without even drinking. Maybe it was due to how their guests were possibly suffering the next day. You know - like that phantom pregnancy thing which men have, when it’s actually their wives are actually who are carrying the child. Know what I mean? Anyone?

Anyway, I’ll just shut up and let y’all look at their amazing day.
